Spain’s Digital Nomad Visa (visado de teletrabajo internacional) lets non‑EU/EEA/Swiss remote workers live in Spain while working for employers or clients abroad. Apply at a consulate for a 1‑year visa, or switch in‑country to a residence permit valid up to 3 years (renewable for 2). Eligibility:

- Work remotely as an employee or freelancer; no more than 20% of income from Spanish clients.

- University degree/training or 3+ years’ experience, clean criminal record, private health insurance, and proof of accommodation and funds.

Process: file online (UGE) from Spain or at your consulate; decisions typically within 20 working days once complete. On approval, give biometrics and collect your TIE card.
